Tuesday, 9. July 2019

The objective of a Backgammon game is to move your pieces around the Backgammon board and bear them off the board faster than your opponent who works just as hard to achieve the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. Winning a round in Backgammon requires both tactics and good luck. How far you will be able to move your checkers is left to the numbers from rolling a pair of dice, and how you move your pieces are decided on by your overall gambling plans. Enthusiasts use a number of tactics in the differing parts of a match depending on your positions and opponent’s.

The Running Game Tactic

The aim of the Running Game technique is to bring all your chips into your home board and bear them off as fast as you can. This tactic focuses on the pace of shifting your checkers with absolutely no efforts to hit or block your competitor’s pieces. The ideal time to employ this tactic is when you believe you can move your own pieces faster than the opponent does: when 1) you have less pieces on the game board; 2) all your chips have past your competitor’s chips; or 3) your opponent does not employ the hitting or blocking strategy.

The Blocking Game Strategy

The primary goal of the blocking tactic, by its title, is to stop the opponent’s pieces, temporarily, not worrying about shifting your chips rapidly. As soon as you’ve established the barrier for your opponent’s movement with a couple of checkers, you can shift your other pieces swiftly off the game board. The player should also have an apparent strategy when to withdraw and move the checkers that you employed for blocking. The game gets intriguing when your opposition uses the same blocking strategy.
