Backgammon is the oldest game in history. It has been known as the "little war," backgammon began in Mesopotamia (now known as Iraq) about 5 millennia ago. However, Egyptians referred to backgammon as "Senat," which was a close style of the present game played right now. Hundreds of years ago, just people of influence, the prevailing figures of aristocracy like Egyptian queens, were able to enjoy. The game started to grow worldwide over time. Various Backgammon types were developed in various states and civilizations, but the basic rules of those versions are similar to that of the antiquated form . For instance, Greece took hold of the game and called it by the title "bac gamen." From there, the English borrowed backgammon in the 1600’s and have remained with it ever since. Backgammon and different antiquated games were never welcomed by a great many churches. The clergy felt that the game was the tool of Satan. This caused clergy to boycott and burn the game. The abolishment and burning had never stop people playing games and enjoying themselves.
Computers offer a new platform for Backgammon.
